Investors’ outlook for Levi Strauss call

Expect Levi Strauss & Co conference call to be held on Thursday, 7th July 2022 at Pacific Time / 5 p.m. Eastern Time. 

The investor’s call will discuss financial results for the second quarter ended May 29,2022. It will be hosted by Chip Bergh who is the CEO and President. Also present is Harmit Singh, the company’s CFO.

Levi Strauss & Co. (LS&Co.) is one of the largest apparel companies in the world that deals with Jeanswear. 

It designs and sells casual wear, designer jeans and other accessories for men, women and children. The products are sold in over 110 countries. 

Wall Street expects the Q2 earnings to climb 12% year over year. 

The company has been performing well, however it has faced supply chain issues as well as inflationary pressures that have affected investors. 

In the last quarter, the profits jumped 22% to close at $1.59 billion. This was against Wall Street expectation of $1.55 billion

Should You Invest In Levi Strauss & Co Stocks Right Now? 

Traders should pay more attention to the company’s performance than how the stock will react after the earnings report. The stock market generally has been performing poorly this year due to runaway inflation.  

Therefore even a strong revenue report may not propel the stock higher.  This analyst’s recommendation is a HOLD for the current investors.
