Two Major Earnings Reports to Watch This Market Monday

After a stronger-than-expected jobs report boosted the potential of more aggressive Fed tightening, US stock markets closed Friday’s session mixed.

With the majority of S&P 500 companies having already reported, we may expect a quieter week of corporate earnings reporting this week. AIG, BioNTech, Sysco, Wynn Resorts, Norwegian Cruise Line, Disney, and Fox Corporation are among the companies set to report next week.

Below are the two most important upcoming quarterly reports expected to be released by publicly traded corporations on Monday. 

BioNTech SE

BioNTech SE is set to announce earnings before the market opens on August 8, 2022. The report will cover the fiscal quarter that ended in June 2022. According to Investment Research, the consensus EPS expectation for the quarter is $8.12, based on analyst estimates. Last year, the reported EPS for the same quarter was $12.98. 

Palantir Technologies Inc.

Palantir Technologies Inc. is slated to release earnings before the market opens on August 8, 2022. The report will cover the fiscal quarter that ends in June 2022. The consensus EPS forecast for the quarter is $-0.04, according to investment research experts. Last year, the reported EPS for the same quarter was $0.04.
